Friends of Castaic Lake Night Events
NO MEMBERSHIP REQUIRED TO FISH THESE EVENT!!! You can sign-up for the Friends of Castaic Lake events the night of the event at the west ramp in the National Bass West Tournament Trailer. We will begin sign-up around 4:30 p.m. We will blast off when the lifeguard allows us to. The first weighin will be at 2 a.m. You may bring your own glow stick or you can purchase one from us (2 for $4). You must wear a glow stick fastened to your life vest at all times after dark. (you can put the glow stick on the back if you'd like. The Castaic Lake Bass Club will be BBQ'ing for you again this year. The cost for the events are Mandatory fee are.....$115 entry fee ($100 get paid back to the anglers), $45 for the FOCL, $10 insurance......There will be an additional $125 in options available which are paid back 100% to the anglers.....All in is $300

(You CAN fish up until 6:15 p.m. the day of the tournament however you must be off the lake by 6:15 p.m. and attend the meeting at 6:30 p.m. at the National Bass West tournament trailer at Diamond Valley Lake.)

Open EventsNO MEMBERSHIP REQUIRED
Our open events require NO MEMBERSHIP fees. These events will have a 95% payback, breakfast in the morning and a barbecue at the weigh-ins. The Lake Havasu open is a ONE DAY event. Mandatory fee are $175 with an additional $125 in options available paid back 100%. Sign up at Anglers Pro Shop on Friday, April 30, 2010 OR on Saturday starting at 4:30 a.m. at WINDSOR BEACH. We will blast off at safe light. THERE IS NO OFF LIMITS for prefishing for this (or any) event. YOU CAN FISH THESE EVENTS BY YOURSELF or WITH A PARTNER The rules are the normal NBW rules.

We will feature a 95% payback to the anglers with 100% of the options paid back thanks to Dobyns Rods for the Delta/Russo's Marina event. In order to qualify for the TOC you must have fished at least 3 out of 4 events, and finished in the top 50% of the year to date standings. You can also qualify on the last event having fished a total of 3 events and finishing in the top 5 on that event The TOC is in May 2010 The fist year for the TOC will be cash. (NO OFF LIMITS) 3 ways to pre-sign for the San Diego Region 1. Mail your entry form directly to WOODY OLSON prior to the Friday before the event. Woody Olson 11917 Orchard Road #26, Lakeside CA 92040 2. You can e-mail them to WOODY at wooddogg@cox.net and then bring CASH to the lake to pay for your entry 3. OR can pay CASH at the lake the day of the event.( although you will be going out after the anglers that were in the draw) OR you can sign up in person at ANGLER'S MARINE Woody is going to be at Anglers Marine in Santee on Friday (before the event) between 4-5 p.m. The drawing for the first boat out will be at 5:30 p.m. Those that sign-up at the lake will go out after the ones that pre-signed. HAVE FUN!
